- Accounts Payable: Process invoices and credit card receipts, verify purchase orders, reconcile discrepancies, prepare payments, and maintain accurate records. Communicate with vendors as needed.
- Accounts Receivable: Generate customer invoices, statements and reconciliations. Prepare, post, verify, and record customer payments and transactions related to accounts receivable.
- Subcontracts and Purchase Orders: Assist with subcontracts, purchase orders and change orders.
- Job Cost Updates and Analysis: Record variable costs, analyze project costs and expenses against budgeted amounts to identify variances and discrepancies, and prepare reports and summaries.
- Contract Management: Assist in reviewing and interpreting contracts, subcontract agreements, and change orders to ensure accurate billing and compliance with contractual terms.
- Payroll Assistance: Assist accounting team as needed to ensure accurate and timely processing of employee timesheets, wages, and benefits related to construction projects.
- Accounting Support: Support the CFO with ad hoc financial analysis and reporting as needed.
- Degree in related field (preferred).
- Strong ethical code and trustworthy with sensitive, confidential information.
- The ability to work independently and seek help or assistance as needed.
- Positive, professional, self-motivated, and highly organized.
- Ability to multitask and committed to working efficiently and accurately.
