- Master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or related behavioral health field from an accredited institution.
- Current, active Texas Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in good standing.
- LPC-Associate candidates may be considered if supervision is available (if applicable to your facility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical counseling experience preferred.
- Experience in a hospital, rural health clinic, or integrated healthcare setting preferred.
- Conduct comprehensive psychosocial and behavioral health assessments.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Provide individual, family, and group counseling services.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and complete clinical documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR).
- Coordinate care with physicians, APRNs, social workers, case managers, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide crisis intervention and risk assessment, including suicide risk evaluations.
- Educate patients and families regarding mental health conditions, coping strategies, and community resources.
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case conferences.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations.
- Maintain patient confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and continuing education.
- Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
