- Assist the Controller with maintaining the books and records of the investment advisory business and their broker dealer
- posting journal entries and performing reconciliations.
- Support annual audit requests and assist with the preparation of the annual financial statements and related footnotes.
- Assist with preparation of quarterly tax estimates.
- Assist with preparation of the monthly Focus reports and other regulatory filings.
- Perform special projects as requested by management.
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of solid accounting experience (preferably in the broker dealer or investment advisory environment). Public accounting experience is strongly preferred
- Advanced Excel skills to include VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables
- Understanding of partnership accounting
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
- CPA certification is preferred
