- Develop, enhance and standardize key decision support review tools, including financial dashboards, data validation, and analytical driven reporting.
- Assist in the strategic planning and annual budget process using building block approach including strategic business growth and key business initiatives.
- Partner with functional leaders to create and track expense budget using various methods including activity base budgeting.
- Partner with departmental leaders to track detail expense actuals and FTE against budget target and conduct expense efficiency analysis using reporting, tracking tools and dashboards.
- Prepare the monthly financial period reporting package that includes full financial statements and variance analysis. Partner with other finance teams, particularly Risk to ensure closing accrual sufficiency including IBNR.
- Forecast future period finance results based on business driver changes and regression. Provide risk and opportunity through insights.
- Develop and drive completion of reporting for monthly business review (MBR) and other key deliverables.
- Cash management including forecast/reconcile weekly cash flow. Coordinate with finance operations and payment team for cash flow management
- Act as resource to the business for various finance/accounting guidance
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field, or equivalent work experience
- 8+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite of products
- Proficient in SAP and Essbase
- Ability to organize and prioritize
- Experience in the healthcare or insurance industry
- Past FP&A experience in fast pace environment
- Proficient in Business Objects reporting tool
- Able to work under pressure

GENERAL FUNCTION
The Sr Finance Manager, FP&A is a key partner to various finance leaders that are responsible for all EyeMed financial planning activities. The Sr Manager provides financial & planning analysis, drivers of performance, expense analysis and publications for executive leaders, communicating opportunities with a focus on both historic and forward-looking strategy that will create ecosystem value by providing insights to drive decisions and results.
