    Overview:


    We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as an Office Assistant at a granite and quartz fabrication company.

    As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our accounting/admin department and ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of financial operations.


    Duties:

    • Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
    • Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
    • Assist with scanning, filing documents and purchase receipts
    • Assist with monthend close procedures
    • Assist in the preparation of financial reports and analysis
    • Manage online files and documents, update monthly spreadsheets
    • Support office management tasks as needed

    Requirements:

    • Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
    • Familiarity with QuickBooks software and Google Suite is a plus
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proven ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
