- Maintain groundskeeping tools and equipment according to all manufacturers' specifications
- Update and note deficiencies of all grounds equipment routinely
- Expedite all repairs and work requests to give the best possible service to all departments
- Maintain records and files of application of fertilizer, weed control products
- Maintain inventory of parts and supplies used for grounds work
- Keep all work areas clean to ensure safe working conditions
- Marking of athletic fields, including baseball, football, soccer, lacrosse, and softball
- Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and flexible hours based on seasonal needs.

- High school diploma or equivalent skills and/or experience
- Horticultural background
- State of MN pesticide applicators license preferred
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as skid steers, plow trucks, and large lawn mowers.
- Oral and written communication skills. English language skills.

- Customer service and public relations skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with frequent interruptions.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.
- Must be in good physical condition and able to lift and carry 75 lbs. on a routine basis.
- Physical activity includes bending, stooping, reaching and grabbing
- Bending, stooping, reaching, grabbing and crawling in tight confined places.
- Climb ladders up to 12 feet
- Ability to pass a pre-offer Physical Fitness Test.
