CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
6.1.

SERVICE TASKS:
Contractor will perform the following tasks in the time and manner specified:
Provide object-oriented and object-relational design and development, web technologies, XML,
HTML, MS SQL, Microsoft .Net (VB.Net, ASP.Net), MS Visual Studio 2003 and 2005 on a weekly
basis as directed by the Department, including, but not limited to:
Modify, develop, design, and maintain .NET applications;
Design model objects (tables, views indexes); and
Provide analytical services for system incidents and enhancements.
Process tickets to correct system errors or implement user-defined requirements for each
defined defect/enhanced ticket as directed by the Department within the timeframe directed by
the specific ticket request.

Processing tickets includes, but

is not limited to:
Process defect tickets to correct system errors within one (1) to two (2) business days;
Process release tickets to manage user requirements within the timeframe directed by
the specific ticket request. The response (due) date of tickets assigned will range from
one (1) hour to more than one (1) week;
Process change tickets to implement system changes on a weekly basis;
Provide analytical services on systems to implement user-defined requirements.
Deliver code to perform system functions as defined in user requirements for each defined
defect/enhancement ticket as directed by the Department within the timeframe directed by
the specific ticket request.

Delivering code includes, but

is not limited to:
Provide analytical services on systems to identify operational efficiencies;
Assist with collecting system requirements with the business program staff; and
Document system technical objects, business requirements, business processes, and
system processes.
Test database code created to satisfy system fixes or user defined requirements as directed by
the Department for each defined defect/enhancement ticket within the timeframe directed by
the specific ticket request.

Testing database code includes, but

is not limited to:
Test application code;
Perform testing on system changes to meet user-defined requirements; and
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT) with the business program staff.
Provide managerially requested activities, reports, analytical research and communication for
each defined defect/enhancement ticket request daily as directed by the Department. The

is not limited to:
Assist with meetings with technical and program staff (scheduling meetings, document
decisions, identify issues and action items);
Produce work estimates to implement user-defined requirements and system changes;
Produce status reports on the implementation of user-defined requirements;
Produce detailed accounting of hours worked by tasks;
Follow DOH IT processes and coordinate with other DOH IT staff to ensure compliance
with DOH standards; and
Correspond (verbally and in written formats) with project teams, internal stakeholders
regarding project activities, deliverables, and status. 9 Skill set info 5.

Contractor staff assigned to this agreement must possess the following minimum qualifications and

experience:

Project Planning, Organization, Implementation:
Six years of experience with database navigational and analysis tools.
Six years of experience of documented application development expertise in the following

technologies and products:
object-oriented and object-relational design and development, web
technologies, XML, HTML, MS SQL, Microsoft .Net (VB.Net, ASP.Net), MS Visual Studio.
Six years of experience with modifying, developing, designing, and maintaining .NET
pplications to meet design and change specifications.
Six years of experience with MS versioning tools (Microsoft TFS, Microsoft Visual Studio Team
Services).
Six years of experience with Visual Basic, Classic ASP. SQL server and Oracle databases.
