    Our 70-year-old global Aerospace & Defense client has asked The Maven Group to locate a talented Design Engineer to join its Buffalo, NY location.

    Our client employs over 13,000 people across the globe and provides solutions to markets such as satellites, human-rated space vehicles, launch vehicles, missiles, military ground vehicles, naval vessels, and security and surveillance.

    This position is a direct-hire, full-time role and includes an excellent benefits package including great medical coverage starting day one, profit sharing, a true retirement plan, tuition reimbursement, and even bring your dog to work if you'd like.

    This role requires the chosen candidate to be onsite at my clients facility. Full Relocation assistance can be provided for candidates not local to the area.

    The chosen Design Engineer will perform the conceptual design, analysis, development and testing of complex controls systems used on defense applications.

    You'll develop complex electrohydraulic, electromechanical and electropneumatic hardware control systems and power sources.
    To be considered a viable candidate, you should possess:
    Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering with 7-10+ years of experience with electrical design OR Master of Science Degree in Engineering with 8+ years' of experience with electrical design
    Experienced in designing PCB's
    Proficient in circuit design, analysis, and testing
    Specialization in power electronics
