EAG Laboratories has a great opportunity for Test Operators to join our ATE Engineering team for a 6 month contract position. ****

The IC Assembler/Test Operator will be responsible for manual testing and operating automated test equipment (ATE) to test semiconductor parts/components.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday; 12midnight to 8:30am

Responsibilities:

Operate semiconductor automated testing equipment and manual test.
Ensure operational documents and quantity reports are accurate, complete and timely for each operation.
Meet test priority and on-time goals in a fast-paced environment.
Work cohesively with other team members and assist to achieve testing objectives.
Be proactive in identifying issues and resolving them quickly to satisfy productions objectives and customer needs.

Qualifications:
Qualifications

1 year experience with IC testing (aka ATE test) in electronic manufacturing.
Hands-on experience in running semiconductor test equipment.
Good Excel skills.
Good communication and written skills.
Ability to work with customers and ensure customer satisfaction.
Ability to calculate test yield and troubleshoot routine issues.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 80% of the time.
Ability to continuously operate a personal computer or lab equipment for extended periods of time (4 or more hours).
Ability to operate a keyboard and other lab equipment, use a telephone, access file cabinets and other items stored at various levels, including overhead
Ability to communicate clearly and understandably ensure an accurate exchange of information in normal conversational distance, over the telephone, and in a group setting.
Ability to handle small and fragile devices with tweezers and /or fingers.
Require close distance visual acuity with or without correction (Glasses, Contacts, etc.)
Must be willing and able to wear PPE such as hard-hat, steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, laboratory coat and/or any other devices or equipment that is required.
Learn new tasks, remember processes, maintain focus, complete tasks independently, make timely decisions in the context of a workflow, ability to communicate with visitors, ability to complete tasks in situations that have a speed or productivity quota.
Ability to move equipment or items up to 50 lbs.

Additional Information

Pay Range: $ $30.00 (Pay is commensurate with experience and degree of technical expertise.)
