- Conduct Individual Therapy: You'll be responsible for delivering one-on-one therapy sessions for adolescents in the residential setting, using evidence-based and trauma-informed approaches. You'll help them address their mental health challenges and support their recovery and growth.
- Manage Your Caseload: You'll manage a small caseload maintaining regular communication and documentation. You'll set clear boundaries and expectations and manage your time and resources efficiently.
- Collaborate with Other Professionals: You'll work with a multidisciplinary team of experts, including medical providers, group therapists, experiential and social facilitators, and academic and life skills coaches. You'll coordinate care and ensure continuity and consistency of services for adolescents and their families.
- You must have a clinical licenseor a provisional license in Maryland.
- Accepted Licenses – LCPC, LCSW, LCMFT, LGPC, LMSW, LGMFT
- You must have prior experience in substance abuse treatment,
- You must have the following clinical skills and abilities:
- Motivational Interviewing
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
- Dialectical Behavior Therapy
- Strong Documentation Skills
- Experience in a residential setting.
- Experience in hospital settings, especially with SUD treatment.
- Crisis support experience can also be beneficial.
- Experience working with Adolescents.
- You must have a master's degree in a relevant field, such as psychology, counseling, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
