Job summary
The Starbucks experience starts in our Roasting Plants where we have a dedicated team of professional roasters and supporting process teams including planning, warehouse management, packaging, roasting, maintenance,engineering and logistics. As an automation specialist you will be focusing on automated control system troubleshooting and process improvement.
In this role you will perform troubleshooting of electrical and instrumentation issues for the sites roasting packing and soluble process equipment site utilities equipment.
Perform periodic maintenance of automation control systems hardware SCADA pursues opportunities to improve system reliability uptime Work alongside engineering operations team to implement capital project upgrades in support of plant safety quality productivity goals We d love to hear from people with relevant experience PLC programming industrial controls electrical troubleshooting general industrial maintenance electrical systems interpretation mechanical electrical drawings original equipment manuals knowledge applicable electrical codes NEC NFPA concept HMI development software suites understanding test instruments schematics technical drawings PLC ladder logic structured text function blocks Rockwell Automation products PLC VFD Servo field instrumentation devices common process control instruments motor drives valves relays measurement transducers pressure temperature flow sensor devices physical virtual server architecture ability work variable shifts business needs communicate clearly concisely orally writing work independently make decisions minimal supervision diverse team environment attention detail basic math skills.Job description
