    Graco manufactures and markets premium equipment to move, measure, control, dispense and spray a wide variety of fluid and powder materials. What does that mean?     Graco is a global leader in the design, development and manufacture of highly engineered systems for numerous industrial and commercial applications. This position supports our Contractor Equipment Division (CED) in Rogers, MN. At CED, our product line meets the needs of painting, striping, texturing, protective coating, fire proofing, spray foam and general contractors and includes all types of airless sprayers, line stripers, pressure washers, spray foam rigs and other proportioning solutions. ().

    Maximize identified product sales to worldwide equipment markets while meeting corporate and divisional profit objectives. In addition, know the worldwide customer requirements for the identified products and applications and prioritize those requirements through product line planning for optimum long-term growth and profitability.

    Essential Duties:

  • Product Management Manage entire product life-cycle (concept to launch)Develop and analyze reports on product business performance and growthCreate and manage product pricing strategyForecast and monitor worldwide product demand, and work with manufacturing to execute
  • Product Development Support multi- year product plan development through market researchChampion new product development through engineering and manufacturingDevelop and drive processes related to product line improvements, product line extensions, and new product developmentDevelop worldwide product requirements for new product, including product costs and necessary justificationsIdentify product features that will result in superior customer value, technological advantages, or patent control
  • Market Research Complete competitive market analysis and monitor activityResearch and analyze customers and develop an understanding of competition, usage, and customer typesIdentify marketing trends and opportunities to increase market share and grow revenue
  • Product Marketing Plan, coordinate and execute product marketing strategiesIntroduce new products including product training & promotion strategies and tactics to achieve new product revenue objectivesCreate sales support material for all products
  • Other duties as assigned
  • Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Technical field. Master's degree desirable
  • Technical aptitude for mechanical and electrical industrial products
  • 5+ years formal marketing or related experience
  • International business experience preferred
  • Highly organized, detailed oriented and process based approach to problem solving
  • Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
  • Ability to work hands-on with the equipment and the customer
  • Demonstrated ability in product management, product planning, or program management
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively create, plan and implement programs with limited supervision
  • Ability to successfully apply complete knowledge of fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures
  • Possess effective written and verbal communication skills in order to successfully work with all organizational levels and relay information and provide supporting evident to sustain his/her point of view
  • Bilingual (English and Spanish speaking) desirable
  • Ability to travel up 30%
