PALFINGER is searching for a Paint Prep Technician. This position is located in TRENTON, NEW JERSEY. This position reports to the Paint Supervisor. The Paint Prep Technician will be responsible to clean and prep truck chassis, parts, weldments, top frames, Cable Hoists and Hook Lifts for paint in an industrial manufacturing environment. This person will also be trained to occasionally prime frames, parts and hoists prior to the paint process.
_____Your Responsibilities
- Properly clean, mask, plug, tack chassis and parts for paint
- Correctly wash, dry and sand parts
- Understand and follow all written instructions as per requirements, inspection plans
- Accurately complete all required documentation
Your Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Grinding/hand tool experience, industrial manufacturing experience strongly preferred
- Must comply with Respirator requirements – fit test
- Physically capable to bend, reach, push, pull and put pedestals, carts, parts, frames and Chassis into position for Prepping and Priming
