    no local travel (<75 miles) shift is 7p-7a, every other weekend required *****RN is required to float throughout the Norton system if needed within their scope of practice.*** Required: BLS, NIH Type of unit- cardiac telemetry on 5E and cardiac mixed acuity (PCU/Tele) on 5W. This position will take either tele or PCU RNS #beds- 59 total on both units Patient Population: adults PCA on unit, but RN assists with vitals, labs Common Equipment: dynamap, telemetry monitor, iv pump, chest tube, Common Medications used on the unit? Heparin, cardiazem, milrinone, lasix, bumex- must be able to titrate drugs Patient ratio: 5:1 standard, 6:1 max Charting system: EPIC scrub color: galaxy blue Parking is off campus with a shuttle. Skills needed: IV insertion, PICC management, PCA pumps, epidurals, feeding tubes, dialysis fistulas, tele interpretation, wound vac, cardioversion, CPAP, biPAP, We are an extremely busy unit with mutiple procedures, admissions and discharges per day. I have admit/dc nurse and qualilty nurse dayshift m-fri. Night shift educator m-f . Assistant Nurse Managers on floor 24/7. We are cardiac focused unit.
