Job summary
The Accounts Receivable Operations Lead serves as the subject matter expert and advisor for all Accounts Receivable processes driving efficiency accuracy and compliance across internal operations and external client partnerships.This role leads process improvement initiatives supports complex reconciliation and remittance issues ensures adherence to government client company guidelines.
Serves as the department expert on end-to-end Accounts Receivable workflows from employer submission through internal processing reconciliation financial reporting. Works collaboratively with internal teams external client employers to establish communicate implement best practices for Accounts Receivable Leads evaluation design implementation of Accounts Receivable process improvements determining appropriate methodologies priorities solutions with minimal supervision identifies develops documents maintains standard operating procedures SOPs for all aspects of Accounts Receivable services across clients administration systems Presents new procedures initiatives technology to internal staff client employers Advises VP of Accounts Receivable Chief Operation Officer on AccountsvReceivables performance trends risks recommended operational improvements Analyzes complex reconciliation issues irregularities determines root causes develops recommended resolutions process changes prevent recurrence Handles complex employer remittance inquiries telephone electronic modes Serves subject matter expert Department accounts receivable processes COBRA payments self-pay payments refund requests cash receipts Employer contract setup maintenance system updates Contribution report preparation processing Payment reconciliation administration systems bank postings Discrepancies research credits retro-payment processing Delinquency management payroll audit processing Month-end review research correction balancing activities Develops supports training content knowledge resources AccountsvReceivables staff provides expert guidance complex processes system functionality Conducts research resolves technical issues irregularities Contributes cross-functional special projects impacting AccountsvReceivables operations client outcomes assigned by AccountsvReceivables Supervisor Manager Performs other duties assigned.
