Job Summary

The Radiology Tech (RT) III will be responsible for conducting various diagnostic radiology procedures under the guidance of the Radiology Director and Staff Radiologist. This position includes preparing patients for examinations and maintaining certifications in multiple modalities.

• Obtaining and confirming physician orders
• Gathering patient medical history before exams
• Preparing patients for procedures
• Performing diagnostic procedures as required
• Assisting radiologists with special procedures
• Ensuring cleanliness and stocking of equipment rooms
• Producing high-quality diagnostic imaging
• Performing various modality procedures following protocols
• Conducting PACS functions and CD burns
• Administering proficient I.V. injections when necessary
• Conducting multiple modality exams per department protocols
• Managing expenditures within budget constraints
• Maintaining confidentiality of patient information
• Participating in Customer/Guest Relations and Education programs
• Reviewing patient records for necessary information
• Utilizing computer charting systems for documentation
• Adhering to Compliance Program and hospital policies
• Other duties as assigned

• Education: High school diploma with completion of a Radiology Technology School
• Licensure: Certified and licensed by the State of Wyoming and ARRT
• Certifications: CPR Certification and additional modality certifications
• Experience: Proficiency in multiple modalities including CT, MRI, and Mammography
