    Occupational Therapist Job Description

    We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at Willow Tree Care Center. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires the ability to work with patients of all ages and backgrounds.

    Willow Tree Care Center is part of Stellar Senior Living, a premier skilled nursing and memory care provider in the Western United States. We have a reputation for providing high-quality care and services to our residents and their families.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Provide diagnostic evaluations and treatment to assigned patients
    • Help patients reach maximum performance level and use skills learned to function in the community within the limits of their capabilities
    • Consult with patients on environmental design, adaptive equipment, and proper positioning to prevent contractures and splinting
    • Instruct patients in adapted techniques and the use of adaptive equipment for daily living skills
    • Train patients in the use of upper-extremity prosthetic devices to resume previous daily routines

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree in occupational therapy required
    • Current registration with the American Occupational Therapy Association required
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
    • Ability to use tools used to make adaptive equipment

    Benefits

    We offer a competitive salary range of $40-$50 per hour, depending on experience. In addition to a comprehensive benefits package, including health, vision, and dental insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
