    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The Regulatory Specialist ensures that all products sold by Bass Pro Shops and our affiliates follow federal, state, and local laws and regulations, as well as assists the Director, Regulatory Compliance

    in

    establishing and upholding a compliance philosophy and culture with a strong internal and external customer focus throughout the organization. Key facilitator and process enabler for regulatory compliance infrastructure and strategies. The specialist will support the Compliance teams in managing foreign and domestic merchandise.


    ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

    Implement and maintain compliance policies and initiatives, ensuring alignment with legal frameworks.

    Ensure the organization adheres to legal standards and company policies while enforcing regulations in all aspects and completing related tasks as assigned.

    Responsible for providing ongoing support to the Compliance department to implement and coordinate compliance programs and policies effectively.

    Working together with the Director, Regulatory Compliance, and compliance partners, this position will carry out day-to-day tasks, track compliance metrics, and identify risks before they escalate.

    Identifies opportunities to support savings initiatives.
    Keep apprised of regulations, corporate policies, and industry best practices.
    Demonstrates a commitment to core values.

    EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:

    Minimum Degree Required:

    Bachelor's degree in international business, supply chain, or related field; vast knowledge of government regulations, compliance, and

    globaloperations.
    Successful team participation, committed to collaboration, communication, building knowledge, and sharing knowledge as a foundation for daily work.
    Knowledge of government regulations, compliance, and quantitative methods acquired through formal education or 4-5 years of on-the-job application .
    KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY
    Robust understanding of compliance matters with

    strong research skills and a demonstrated ability to provide data-driven recommendations and take informed action.
    Understanding or willingness to learn in detail about applicable federal and state requirements and policies.
    Familiarity with JDA and Microsoft Office
    A self-starter who can meet or exceed deadlines, multi-task, and maintain flexibility in a fast-paced, changing environment.
    Capacity to interpret, understand, and ensure Bass Pro Shops and Cabela's compliance with complex regulatory documents.
    Capability to establish working relationships with associates at all levels.
    Excellent written and oral communication skills
    A valid passport and driver's license

    Regular computer work and sitting
    Occasional walking, standing, and lifting.
