Your Mission
Job Duties:
Work as a collaborative stakeholder with experience in infrastructure design, implementation, data engineering, or support. Architect solutions, including multi-cloud and hybrid-cloud scenarios. Provide robust and scalable technology solutions to enable our customers to scale their operations into GCP. Advise customers on technology standards, methodologies and processes as they relate to infrastructure, application architecture, and data engineering. Design and develop infrastructure blueprints for the implementation of new solutions that bring customers' storage and compute workloads from cloud and non-cloud environments to GCP. Participate in proof of concept development to assist in defining technology direction for our customers. Conduct regular touchpoints with clients to review their cloud strategy and provide updates on best practices and new products. Build solutions which leverage novel approaches to existing business and technology challenges.
Job Requirements:
The position requires a Bachelor's Degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, business administration, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.
Special skills requirements:
Must possess 2 years of experience in the following skills: Systems Engineering, System Administration, or Systems Architecture experience; TCP, IP and other network protocols; DNS, DHCP and other network services; Experience administering a variety of Linux distributions; VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, or other virtual software; define infrastructure as code using tools like Google Deployment Manager, Terraform, Chef; scripting abilities via BASH, Python; and knowledge of network topology and associated technologies. Must also possess 6 months of experience in the following skills: Cloud offerings and solutions (Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS); Experience with information security practices and procedures; and knowledge of DevOps best practices for cloud-native build and release pipelines.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $148,000 and $158,000 + company bonus + benefits. Within the range, individual pay is determined based on job-related skills, experience, relevant education/certification or training, and work location.
