Chestnut Mountain Resort days of fun includes 60 acres of lift-accessible terrain for Skiing and Snowboarding, Farside Terrain Park, Farside Downhill Mountain Bike Park, Cross Country Mountain Bike Trails, Alpine Slide, Soaring Eagle Zipline, Mississippi River Cruises, Disc Golf, Mini Golf and Sunset Dinners.

    SUMMARY

    To perform in a pleasant, professional, and efficient manner, a combination of duties mainly related, but not limited, to check-in and checkout of guests which contributes to an overall positive experience. This is a full time, benefits eligible position.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    1. Registers and assigns rooms to guest.
    2. Issues room key and escort instructions to bellhop or directly to guest as appropriate.
    3. Answer telephone calls concerning hotel, activities and other various information regarding the Resort.
    4. Transmits and receives messages using equipment such as telephone, email, fax and switchboard.
    5. Answers inquiries pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions.
    6. Keeps records of room availability and guests' accounts.
    7. Computes bill, collect payment and make change for guests.
    8. Make, confirm, and cancel reservations for guests.
    9. Post charges such as room, food, or activities by hand or machine.
    10. May make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations for guests.
    11. Other duties as assigned.

    KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

    Needs to have good customer relations skills. A friendly and professional tone and actions are vital. Need to speak clearly and listen carefully. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    Lifting 20 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to l0 lbs. Requires walking or standing to a significant degree. Talking. Hearing.
