- Accredited School of Practical Nursing Program (required)
- LVN - Licensed Vocational Nurse Upon Hire (required)
- 1 year LVN experience (preferred)
- Knowledge of basic nursing processes and understanding of healthcare technology, equipment, and supplies
- Knowledge of state law on nursing care, nurse practice guidelines, and clinic policies and procedures
- Ability to effectively communicate to staff and patients
- Demonstrate sound judgment and composure
- Ability to take appropriate action in questionable or emergency situations
- Maintain a positive, caring attitude towards staff and patients
- Possess a strong work ethic and a high level of professionalism
- Efficient time management skills
- Deliver care to patient utilizing the LVN, EMT, or Paramedic Process
- Under the supervision of the physician, you will complete chemical and walking stress testing utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, evaluate and provide care as needed
- Perform Stress tests (ETT) and stress portion of Stress echo exams
- Perform IV starts and perform the Dobutamine portion of Dobutamine Stress Echo, administer Definity contrast for Echo exams, and perform Echo bubble studies
- Cross train in Nuclear dept for Nuclear walking and non-walking stress tests
- Prepare preliminary reports for provider interpretation
- Candidate can expect to work closely with Echo staff, Nuclear staff and providers
- Candidate can expect to work in the Flower Mound-South clinic with the expectation of traveling to other clinics in Flower Mound and Denton if needed to fill in, <25% of the time.
