- Create and execute a vision for the growth of high-throughput platform production, reagents development, and assay support functions.
- Manage and grow a team of scientists, including providing scientific mentorship and guidance, and fostering growth opportunities.
- Proactively identify, architect, and implement solutions that effectively scale our processes and drive continuous improvement across all areas of ownership.
- Represent the platform production team in collaboration and coordination efforts across the company, from new program onboarding to weekly priorities.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to identify and rectify root causes affecting BigHats platform processes.
- Drive the growth of BigHats internal reagents capabilities, encompassing development, manufacturing, and quality control.
- Lead assay support functions with emphasis on increasing platform robustness and flexibility, optimizing production assays, and refining performance qualification processes.
- Partner closely with scientific, engineering, operations, and data science teams on growing BigHats platform and processes.
- (Preferred) Provide hands-on bench support for critical experiments as needed.
