    Summary:

    This position reports directly to the plant Engineering Director

    What you'll do for us

  • Follow-up as needed to ensure project contractors work safely. Regular hand on follow-up throughout the day.
  • Ensure contractors follow GMP requirements
  • Validate work is completed to project scope and design specifications
  • Accuracy of plant asset listings and support asset audit
  • Support new equipment and process startup activities
  • Support commissioning and validation of new equipment
  • Help project team in coordinating training for maintenance techs and operators
  • Work master data to develop PM's and BOM's for new equipment
  • Coordinate and support plant maintenance coverage as needed
  • Lead project meetings with contractors
  • Act as local SME for new projects
  • Strong safety mentality and willing to act when issue identified
  • Assist with asset verification and capitalization process
  • Focus on continual improvement
  • Requirements & Qualifications

  • Minimum high school diploma
  • Minimum 5-year minimum industrial manufacturing technical experience
  • The job requires on-site work (not virtual)
  • Knowledge of industrial safety programs (LO/TO, Hot Work, Fall Protection, Arc Flash, etc)
  • Able to list 50 lbs
  • Microsoft – Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint
  • Ability to read P&IDs, project mechanical & electrical drawings, bid packages
  • SAP – BOM, PM development, spare parts setup
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with 3rd party contractors, peers, and senior management
  • Strong industrial mechanical and electrical system experience
  • Knowledge of liquid processing equipment (mixing tanks, valves, pumps, pasteurizers, homogenizers, CIP, etc)
  • Knowledge of building mechanical systems (air compressors, HVAC, etc)
  • Understanding of industrial controls
  • Self-motivated to identify and resolve issues before they become a problem
  • Ideal candidate has strong knowledge of existing ABBP equipment
  • Good documentation skills
  • Willing to work weekends and off hours as needed
