Job Title: Event Security Specialist

Duration: 12 Months

Location: McLean, VA, USA

Pay Range: $48 per hour

Description of responsibilities:

Contribution to the management of safety and security at client's corporate events by:
Assisting in pre-event planning involving vendors, event staffing arrangements, emergency procedures, communication protocols, risk evaluations, and more
Capability to participate in pre-event inspections either on-site or via video conference
Assisting, sometimes leading, in supervising event security vendors (uniformed security, law enforcement, K/9's, Hotel Security, H&S Consultants, etc.) during events
Delivering security briefings to event day staff regarding the event
Ensuring overall event safety and security adhering to Workday event standards
Reviewing and documenting incident reports during events
Completing post-event summaries
Performing any other assigned duties

Basic Qualifications

Experience of 3+ years in event safety and/or security at a multinational company overseeing event security
BA/BS degree in business, management, criminal justice, or a similar mix of education, military, law enforcement, safety or security background
Willingness to travel nationally and internationally for events at least 50% of the time (potentially up to 10 consecutive days)
Strong customer service orientation
Possession of a valid passport

Other Qualifications

Effective collaboration with internal customers and close cooperation with corporate event planners and third-party vendors
Experience in managing crowd flow, ensuring guest safety during event ingress and egress
