    Sr. Benefits Consultant

    We are currently seeking candidates for a Sr. Benefits Consultant at a global management consulting co. with a location in Downtown Boston, MA, The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5+ years of Benefits experience. Experience with Workday is required.

    This is a temporary role (est. 7+ months) and will pay up to $70.00 per hour (based on relative work experience) within a 40-hour work week.

    On-site 3 days per week.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for the day-to-day operations of group benefits (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible and dependent care spending account, retirement plan, etc.).
    • Assist with the administration of employee benefit programs through Workday, which include health insurance, dental, retirement plans, life insurance, disability insurance, and other related benefits.
    • Ensure accurate and timely enrollment, changes, and terminations of employee benefits.
    • Monthly bill reconciliation of all vendor invoices.
    • Maintain employee benefits records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality of information.
    • Conduct regular audits of benefit carriers ensuring compliance with legal requirements and internal policies.
    • Review 5500s for both Defined Benefit and Defined Contribution Plans.
    • Working knowledge of federal regulations (e.g., ACA, COBRA, HIPAA).
    • Assist in other benefits projects such as open enrollment, plan changes or new plan implementation and change management plan.
    • Administer ongoing LOA/FMLA/STD/LTD/ADA request via Workday.
    • Assist with the return-to-work process for employees returning from extended FMLA, worker's compensation, or other leaves.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's Degree
    • 5+ years of Benefits experience
    • Experience with Workday is required
    • Leave of Absence experience is required
    • Detail oriented and discretion with confidential information
    • Outstanding service orientation and proactive problem-solving skills
    • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
