Manufacturing Set Up Technician - DeLand

Job summary
Set up various production machines and ancillary equipment according to procedures and product specifications utilizing small hand tools i.e. wrenches pliers screwdrivers drills and channel locks Monitor machinery and process goals during shift and make adjustments as necessary to ensure optimum performance of processes Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunction and either repair equipment or arrange for technical support to complete repairs Complete all pertinent paperwork pertaining to the finished product being produced according to established guidelines in the manufacturing procedures Prepare maintain required maintenance equipment records Perform dimensional physical inspections by using micrometers dial calipers other precision measuring instruments to ensure quality Interpret engineering drawings schematic diagrams formulas confer with management or engineering staff determine quality reliability standards Select products inspection evaluation at specified stages in production process performs visual dimensional performance mechanical electrical chemical inspections per required characteristics Transport hazardous waste accumulation areas Complete Annual Hazardous Waste RCRA refresher training Cross train support where needed throughout facility
