- Manage daily nursing activities, including those in residential and outpatient settings
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to optimize patient care
- Conduct regular supervisory meetings and address staff concerns and suggestions
- Support the Medical Director in managing medical services
- Monitor patient health and make necessary referrals
- Educate patients on health matters and empower nursing staff to do the same
- Oversee medical assessments throughout patient treatment
- Ensure accurate documentation and completion of physician's orders
- Liaise with various internal teams in emergency situations
- Manage inventory of medical and nursing supplies
- Oversee patient record audits for compliance with funding sources
- Prepare and submit necessary reports
- Attend and contribute to clinical consultations and team meetings
- Represent the organization at external engagements
- Update nursing policies and contribute to clinical and medical policy development
- Set and monitor performance goals for nursing staff
- Serve as Infection Control Officer, overseeing related communications and treatments
- Manage the budget for nursing/medical services
- Mentor nursing staff for professional development
- Perform additional duties as assigned
- Lead and mentor all nursing personnel, including nursing assistants
- Conduct interviews, training, performance evaluations, and handle disciplinary actions
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and relevant laws
