- Generate and analyze performance returns for accounts in the firm's performance measurement system, researching and resolving any
- Set up and maintain new client accounts and benchmarks in the performance system.
- Monitor and reconcile benchmark data information received from index providers, resolving any data problems, and manage internal.
- Use performance data from various systems to calculate, analyze and interpret data for the purpose of determining contributing factors to
- Calculate and maintain performance composites in compliance with GIPS. Update and maintain necessary composite documents and
- Complete internal/external client performance requests, support firm's RFP processes and produce performance related materials for
- Conduct ongoing reporting or ad hoc reporting as needed at an excellent service level.
- Demonstrate a basic understanding of the flow of firm's information to accounting and performance systems and use that knowledge to
- Contribute ideas for and assist in the implementation of improvements to efficiency, accuracy, and controls in relation to assigned work,
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Three to five years of experience in operations/technology project management activities Preferred Qualifications:
- College degree required (mathematics/statistics, finance, or equivalent field preferred)
- Five plus years of related experience
- A solid, detailed understanding of performance and attribution calculations and methodologies
- Understand investment concepts, portfolio accounting, security types, accruals and how transactions affect performance.
- Proficient computer skills, especially MS Excel, MS Word & MS Access applications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to collaborate with other team members yet be comfortable running detailed scheduled or ad-hoc reports independently; manage.
- Self-directed with a willingness to learn and follow-through projects to completion
- Experience with trust and fiduciary systems, operations and investment systems
- Working toward CIPM and/or CFA
- Experience in database analytics, data mining and data manipulation to produce accurate, high-quality work; attentive to details
- Knowledge of SS&C Sylvan and SS&C PORTIA strongly preferred, prior experience with Clearwater, FactSet and Bloomberg
