    The Senior Corporate Accountant will perform an integral role on the global Corporate Accounting team, engaging in a new position that will get the hands-on opportunity to collaborate with cross- functional teams to spearhead the technical accounting consultation and audit process, as well as take on external reporting responsibilities and quarterly review tasks.

    We are looking for an individual who is detail-oriented, possesses strong technical accounting and external reporting skills, and is driven to work both individually and together with team members in a dynamic environment focused on maintaining control over complex accounting and reporting topics.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Research and analyze complex accounting topics, providing well-founded recommendations via technical accounting memos.
    • Assist with the preparation and review of financial statements, disclosures, and MD&A.
    • Assess quarterly business results and prepare consolidated analytics.
    • Lead the technical accounting contract review process, providing summaries and managing team reviews to ensure appropriate consideration in recording and reporting.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on accounting consultations by analyzing accounting implications of business transactions and proposing appropriate accounting treatment.
    • Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance with progressing regulatory environment, including ESG.
    • Monitor dynamic accounting and regulatory standards developments, and lead implementation activities.
    • Execute key internal controls over financial reporting.
    • Provide support as part of our external audit process, including implementing applicable planning, leading documentation support, and addressing inquiries on associated corporate accounting topics.
    • Engage in strategic special projects crucial to company objectives and initiatives.
    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, CPA required
    • 5 years of experience in accounting, ideally with minimum 3 years at a public accounting firm
    • Thorough understanding of US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP)
    • Strong analytics skills with experience conducting technical accounting research with emphasis on disclosure requirements
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Detail-oriented, well-organized
    • Ability to work independently as well as collaborate as a team member
    • Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and to meet focused deadlines
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint required
    • Experience with SAP and Workiva is a plus
