Job summary
This position provides support to military service members and their families through referrals, follow-up, and outreach activities. The role involves serving as an assistant in accomplishing objectives related to Soldier retention and family readiness.Responsibilities
+ Serves as an assistant in accomplishing all objectives of the SFRP for the Army National Guard to maximize Soldier retention and family readiness+ Operates family assistance center providing non-medical administrative case management across all essential services including but not limited to crisis legal financial TRICARE ID Cards DEERS Community Information Outreach Services Employment Financial Literacy Emergency Family Assistance Center EFAC Exceptional Family Member Program EFMP + Provides training technical support to Commanders Family Readiness Liaisons supporting Unit Family Readiness program Soldiers & Family Readiness Groups SSFRGs Conduct informal formal training recruitment of volunteers Supports volunteers instructing train units soldiers families Develops conducts orientation training programs for volunteers Maintains volunteer personnel records document volunteer services hours within approved system record Plans recognizes potential award national level recognition higher headquarters Supervises ITOS reconciliation Plan conducts workshops seminars life skills family readiness training Soldiers Families Volunteers Identifies statutory council members coordinates communication Assist higher HQ planning coordinating provision resources briefings deployment steady state cycle support + Submit information budget forecasting development Soldier &FamilyReadiness Support Proram higher HQ Maintains regular contact commanders command teams assigned units determine needs staff visits accomplish objectives geographical area responsibility
