    Position Summary

    We are seeking an exceptional

    Senior Cloud Data Architect

    who will drive enterprise cloud data strategy and implementation.

    The immediate project consists of designing an Azure data lake for a large enterprise, guiding the customer on what is required and proposing an ideal solution for achieving the goal.

    You will work directly with the CIO of a top 5 IT consulting services company and must be strategic and independent in your approach and thinking.

    Role & Responsibilities

    Design the target data lakehouse solution (considering the data type and sources including via ETL/ELT pipelines, understand source structures, transforming to data assets/structures and publishing to clients through APIs), plan the Data Lake build and migration of data sources
    Understand and document the client's requirements

    Manage and oversee the migration of on-premise data warehouse and analytics workloads, including Oracle, Oracle Financials, and SAP data warehouse, to Azure services.

    Architect and design data storage, processing, and analytics solutions on Azure, considering performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency.
    Develop and enforce data governance and security policies to ensure data integrity, compliance, and confidentiality.
    Specify the tools/platforms/configurations for the data lakehouse and ETL and ops/control plane;
    Takes a proactive role in driving customer toward it's intended solution.
    Provide technical leadership and mentorship to a team of data engineers and architects.

    Stay up-to-date with Azure's evolving services and best practices to drive continuous improvement in data architecture, analytics, and migration strategies.

    Required Skills & Experience

    10+ years of proven experience across Azure Cloud Data and enterprise data architecture

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, coupled with relevant certifications (e.g., TOGAF, AWS/Azure/GCP certifications).


    Expertise Required:
    Azure, MS Fabric, MS OneLake, Data Lake, Data Warehouse, ETL, data architecture.
