Outstanding communication skills necessary in order to talk with patients, vendors, insurance companies, attorneys, judges, auditors, etc who may be requesting information on our patients.

Must have excellent phone skills and etiquette. Represents the hospital in court when records are requested. Strict confidentiality, security and integrity of all patient data and information is maintained.

Must keep abreast of any changes in rules or regulations involving state and federal laws governing Birth Certificate processing and patient privacy and confidentiality regulations.
