Our approach involves providing personalized healthcare and addiction therapy that addresses the emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being of each person we serve.

    As a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC), SSTAR offers employees the opportunity to apply for one of our three Loan Repayment Programs, including the HRSA LRP.

    The Clinician working in the Ambulatory Services Department plays a key role in delivering direct services such as individual, group, and family counseling to individuals dealing with addiction and/or mental health challenges.

    Salary:
    Salaries for MA, MEd, and MSW professionals start at $64k and increase with experience. Eligible for Sign-On Bonus.

    Duties & Responsibilities

    - Provide 100 hours of direct client service monthly, including assessments and various treatment sessions
    - Maintain accurate case records in line with agency standards
    - Attend regular group and individual clinical supervision sessions
    - Assist with case management tasks for specific clients
    - Liaise with referring agencies and other relevant parties on behalf of clients
    - Daily submission of billing information and coordination with insurance providers
    - Participate in on-call duties and crisis interventions as needed
    - Work towards obtaining licensure
    - Fulfill any other assigned duties

    Experience and Skills:
    Education & Experience

    - Minimum Master's degree in social work or related counseling discipline
    - Previous experience in treating individuals with substance dependency and/or mental health issues
    - Proficiency in computer skills
    - Strong verbal and written communication abilities
    - Capability to collaborate effectively within a treatment team setting
    - Demonstrated good health, professional demeanor, and self-awareness
    - Fluency in Spanish is a bonus
