    Journeyman Electrician Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician to join our team at Reiner Electric, LLC in Ballwin, MO.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in commercial and residential settings
    • Perform preventive maintenance on electrical equipment to ensure optimal functioning
    • Inspect electrical systems to identify hazards, defects, or needed repairs
    • Troubleshoot electrical issues and determine the most effective solutions
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, regulations, and safety standards
    • Collaborate with clients, suppliers, and other team members to facilitate successful project completion
    • Read and interpret electrical drawings, blueprints, and technical diagrams
    • Provide guidance and training to apprentices
    • Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and hours worked
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area

    Qualifications:

    • Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety guidelines
    • Proven experience in electrical installation, maintenance, and repair
    • Ability to read and interpret technical documents
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
    • Attention to detail and ability to work with precision
    • Good physical condition and stamina to perform manual labor
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment
    • Reliability and strong work ethic
