Required Skills and Experience We Are Looking For:
Significant experience in Microsoft SQL & Oracle database programming and development is a must.
Must have hands-on experience with Data Storage systems like Hadoop(Product or As Service) and formats like Apache Parquet
Must have hands-on experience with Data Processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Beam, Flink, Airflow, etc
Must have hands-on experience with Data Visualization frameworks like Apache Superset, Druid, Jupyter Notebook, etc
Must have hands-on experience with Data Ingestion frameworks like Apache Kafka, Apache Nifi, etc.
Significant development & integration experience in Microsoft database modules like SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, CUBE (Star Schema)
Proven experience as a Database Architect, with a focus on modernization projects.
Proficient in performing high-paced proof of concepts/ proof of value is exploring different migration techniques from standard database tech to advanced software.
Ability to work/collaborate with shared teams to build working models and disseminate them to a wider group of developers for adoption.
In-depth knowledge of database technologies such as [SQL, Oracle], big data technology stack, Scala, Pig, MongoDB, and Snowflake.Assess and analyze existing database architecture to identify opportunities for modernization.
Proficiency in database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
Significant experience in data normalization, denormalization, and compression techniques to optimize data size and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align database solutions accordingly.
Ensure data integrity, security, and performance in the modernized database environment.
Provide technical guidance and support to development teams during the implementation of database changes.
Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in both traditional databases and big data.
