- Provide safe, direct patient care utilizing the nursing process in the ambulatory setting.
- Assist physician with special tests, procedures, and complex treatments.
- Administer medications and perform routine treatments.
- Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures.
- Participate in orientation and evaluation of new personnel.
- Assist team members in patient care; coordinate patient care with other UH departments and clinics.
- Provide education to patients and families about preventive care, medical issues, and the use of prescriptive medical treatment.
- Program Graduate; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Nationally Accredited Nursing Graduate
- 3 years directly related experience preferred
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS Prov or Prof Rescuers w/in 30 days
- RN in NM or as allowed by reciprocal agreement by NM
- Heavy Work: Exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects or people. Physical Demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work.
