    Ledgent Technology is seeking an experienced and dynamic DevOps Team lead our client's team in Fort Lauderdale.

    This full-time, onsite role will focus on overseeing the design, implementation, and management of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring optimal operation and scalability of our cloud-based applications and services.

    The manager will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation in automation, continuous integration, and deployment, while optimizing cloud environments for cost and performance efficiency.


    Duties and Responsibilities:
    Lead and manage the Cloud/DevOps team, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of cloud-based infrastructure solutions.
    Oversee the development and maintenance of automated deployment pipelines and configuration management systems to facilitate continuous integration and deployment.
    Guide and collaborate with development teams on infrastructure requirements, performance optimization, and scalability strategies.
    Monitor cloud-based environments, identifying and resolving performance issues, security vulnerabilities, and system failures.
    Implement and manage robust backup and disaster recovery systems for cloud-based applications.
    Evaluate and integrate new tools, technologies, and methodologies to enhance the efficiency of cloud infrastructure.
    Develop comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure, deployment processes, and best practices.

    Stay abreast of industry trends in cloud computing, DevOps, and automation, and ensure the team is up-to-date with emerging technologies.


    Experience and Qualifications:
    Proven leadership experience in managing a Cloud/DevOps team.
    Extensive experience with major cloud platforms, preferably Amazon Web Services (AWS) and/or Microsoft Azure.
    Strong background in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
    In-depth understanding of infrastructure-as-code (IaC) with experience in Terraform or CloudFormation.
    Expertise in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
    Familiarity with AWS/Azure Big Data services and proficiency with the Git product suite and Azure DevOps is advantageous.
    Comprehensive knowledge of networking, security best practices, and system administration in cloud environments.
    Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
