American National seeks a Business Analyst for our League City office to be responsible for providing system support for our Annuities and Corporate Operations business unit.
You will excel in this role if you enjoy an in-office environment, have annuities or data analysis experience, and technical skills with Excel and Access.
What Will You Do?Obtain an understanding of the Annuities and Corporate Operations business unit while working in an Agile Framework
Produce written business requirements for small- to medium-size system changes associated with their assigned system and business unit.
Work directly with the business unit requesting the system change in order to develop, write, and provide accurate user stories.
Update rules-based system tables within their assigned system that control processing and correspondence for noncomplex changes when applicable.Maintain accountability for the quality assurance and testing of small- to medium-size system changes within their assigned system and estimating the time and effort for these tasks.
Ensure that system changes produce expected results as documented in the respective business requirement.Exercises regression tools and testing techniques to ensure system changes have not adversely affected other production system program code.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
2 years of experience
Strong with Excel and Access
Preferred Experience
Awareness of working in Agile Environment
Writing user stories
Working with Scrum Master and Product Owners
