    La Marzocco:


    The Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for cash posting in day-to-day accounting operations, collecting payment from past-due accounts, and ensuring proper adherence to and compliance with Accounts Receivable policies and procedures.

    A member of the Finance and Accounting Team at La Marzocco USA, the Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Regional Controller while working closely with the Credit Lead and supporting all members of the F&A team.

    As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, a typical day might include a mix of the following:

    Maintaining accurate customer accounts receivable files, resale certificates and records, and issuing Credit Memos.

    Collaborating with sales representatives and resolving customer issues. Gathering customer credit documentation for new customer approval.

    Communicating with customers and sales team members regarding account statements, customer billing discrepancies and questions.

    Maintaining good relationships with customers to facilitate prompt payments and resolve disputes.

    Entering daily bank transactions and reconciling records, resolving discrepancies or issues related to accounts receivable.

    Serving as the support liaison to the Parts Department for credit card customers.


    Working closely with the Credit Lead and other finance team members to achieve departmental goals and providing input on improving accounts receivable processes and procedures.

    Contributing to special projects as needed, such as process improvements, system implementations, or financial initiatives.

    What you'll bring to the table:

    Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred, high school diploma/GED required.

    At least 4 years' experience in credit and collections, preferably in an office environment. Experience working with business-to-business customers highly desired.

    Organized, driven, and self-motivated with sound judgment. Strong analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to multi-task and handle frequent interruptions and shifting priorities.

    Excellent data-entry skills. Experience with Accounting software, SPA Business 1 preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, Word, Outlook.

    Strong customer service aptitude and understanding of customer service principles.

    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to use phone, email, and video conference technology to communicate with internal and external parties.

    Flexible, collaborative personality with a strong emphasis on cross-functional communication and responsiveness.

    Location:
    Seattle, WA, Ballard HQ

    Compensation Range:
    $30.00 – $34.00/hour depending on experience, with 5% bonus opportunity

    Schedule:
    Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Occasionally, there will be a need for additional hours based upon increased workload demands.


    Reports to:
    Regional Controller


    Physical requirements:
    Ability to sit for long periods of time while working at a computer, walking at a quick pace, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, lifting up to 20 pounds

    Travel:
    This position requires less than 5% travel.
