    A major client of ours, in the pharmaceutical industry, has a need for an HR Coordinator at their Fall River, MA location. This is a contract opportunity and is onsite.

    HR Coordinator

    Reponsibilities

    • Prepares and maintains employment records related to hiring, termination, leaves, transfers and promotions
    • Explains company policies, benefits and procedures to new hires and employees.
    • Organize files, general office administration to serve internal client groups and assist with office supplies.
    • Presents the new hire orientation and handles all aspects of onboarding.
    • Coordinates orientation scheduling.
    • Meets with the candidate to complete new hire paperwork.
    • Reviews Form I-9 documentation and processes E-Verify.
    • Submits online background screening, drug testing and physicals for new employees, as necessary.
    • Maintain all Company I9 documents audit ready and compliant with all applicable laws and regulations.
    • Facilitate and administer the Company's Extended Work Week Bonus (EWB) program. This requires collaboration with the Company's Payroll Department and managers.
    • Maintain knowledge and awareness of applicable LOA and accommodation laws including the FMLA, ADA, and state and local laws.
    • Ensure complete and accurate recordkeeping of LOA and accommodation requests and approvals in accordance with Company and legal requirements.
    • Address LOA policy violations and advise management on recommendations for formal discipline or other corrective actions up to and including termination of employees.
    • Preserve confidentiality of employee medical documentation and files.
    • Manage the Company's internship program. This entails owning the entire recruitment process from communicating needs with managers, sourcing resumes, navigating job boards and the company's ATS, releasing offers, and onboarding interns.
    • Managing intern related events like volunteer work and professional development workshops.
    • Managing the internship program's policies, updating the policies, and ensuring managers are abiding by them.
    • Collaborating with HRBPs and managers when interns are being considered for full-time conversion.
    • Collaborate with HRBPs across the company to support employee engagement initiatives and events. Examples of events include the holiday party, summer picnic, Hispanic Heritage month, etc.
    • Apart from sourcing and staffing for interns, this role requires that the individual support HRBPs in sourcing and screening candidates for full-time roles, especially in operations to include packaging and manufacturing operators.
    • Scheduling and facilitating interviews with full-time employees on an on needed basis.
    • The HR Coordinator is expected to perform other work delegated to them by the HRBPs. This may include involvement in Employee Relation incidences and other miscellaneous tasks.

    Requirements

    • 6 months+ of experience working in Human Resources in any capacity.
    • BS Degree in Business Administration/Human Resources or another relevant field of study.
    • Able to compile, analyze, and report data in a business context with attention to detail, understanding trends, and developing recommendations based on the data analysis.
    • Able to partner, facilitate, and collaborate with employees and managers across the organization.
    • Knowledge of local, state, and federal employment and labor laws and regulations
    • Able to effectively communicate oral, written, presentation, interpersonal, and organizational.
    • Proficient user of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams Meeting, and other business software.
    • Have excellent organization, learning and teaching skills required to work in teams.
    • Bi-lingual in Spanish is preferred.
