      • Position Details

      • Deliver psychotherapy and counseling services to patients with psychiatric and substance abuse disorders, including group, individual, and family therapies.
      • Ensure accurate and timely patient records.
      • Communicate actively with clients, families, and external referral sources, complying with HIPAA and CFR Part 2. Maintain detailed records of interactions with patients and stakeholders.
      • Participate significantly in patient treatment planning. Collaborate with patients to achieve treatment goals and document progress effectively. Demonstrate initiative in updating treatment plans as needed.
      • Consistently collaborate with the interdisciplinary team, including physicians, utilization review, and nursing staff. Maintain open communication with all team members.
      • Work closely with the utilization review department to communicate patient treatment and length of stay.
      • Create comprehensive discharge plans for clients that cater to their post-treatment needs. Ensure that patients, family members, or referral sources receive necessary paperwork promptly after discharge for continuity of care.
        • Qualifications

        Requirements:
        • Master's Degree in Social Work or Counseling or relevant state licensure.
        • CPR and CPI Certification required within one day of employment and prior to patient contact.
          • Experience:
          • Prior experience working with patients dealing with psychiatric and substance abuse issues.
