    Job DescriptionSalary: $18 Hourly

    We are looking to employ a hard working and dedicated wait assist/food runner to provide assistance to our servers and ensure that tables are cleared, cleaned, and properly set for patrons. The wait assist's responsibilities include preparing and refilling waters, setting and clearing tables, and running food. Candidates should also be able to perform any opening and end of day cleaning and other responsibilities.

    To be a successful wait assist, you should be well-organized with attention to detail and able to work in a fast paced environment. An outstanding wait assist should demonstrate effective communication skills and achieve excellent customer service at all times.

    Wait Assist Responsibilities:

    • Providing water to guests upon being seated at their tables
    • Assisting with food running
    • Clearing dirty plates, silverware, and glassware from tables as required
    • Ensuring that the server station is adequately stocked
    • Bringing bus tubs to dish area as needed

    Wait Assist Requirements:

    • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
    • Attention to detail
    • Effective communication skills
    • Strong organizational skills
    • The ability to stand for long periods of time
    • The ability to lift up to 40 lbs
    • Ability to adapt and be flexible to change
