    Normal Work Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:45pm

    Job Summary: The Admissions Representative I is responsible for the identification, recruitment, evaluation, and admissions of prospective students for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions.

    Additional Department Summary: This position serves a representative for the Office of Undergraduate Admissions in an assigned Territory with a focus on recruiting students from underrepresented populations. Provides leadership in identifying & enrolling undergraduate students. Serves as the primary contact with local high school guidance counselors and principals, coordinates recruiting efforts with local alumni chapters, identifies prospective qualified undergraduate students in the region, and plans student receptions and counselor briefings, etc. Some evening and weekend work is required. This position requires the incumbent to travel alone.

    Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and one (1) year of experience.

    Additional Required Department Minimum Qualifications: The ability to travel alone out of town, sometimes overnight. Some evening and weekend work is required. Must have valid U.S. driver's license. Must be at least 19 years of age at time of hire and have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report that is in compliance with University policies. Applicants under the age of 21 will have some driving restrictions. Must be able to obtain a Class C Commercial Driver's License within 6 months of being hired.

    The position requires the capability to stand for long periods of time and to lift and carry large quantities of sometimes heavy recruitment materials.
