    On-Site Resident Engineer (ORE) - VSFB Why This is an

    Exciting Role:
    As a ORE (On-Site Resident Engineer) at Boeing Intelligence & Analytics you will i nitiates and guide people and processes to develop fault isolation procedures and techniques that guide end-users to identify faults, trouble-shoot and repair complex systems
    Utilizes engineering principles, Fault Tree Analysis (FTA), probability and risk analysis that guarantee product reliability, safety and efficiency.


    • Initiates and guides people and processes to create system theory descriptions of operations by analyzing complex product designs (e.g
    electrical power, navigation, communications, central maintenance system, fire protection, HVAC and missile ground systems components) and engineering principles to provide understanding of technical systems and components to ensure product reliability and safety.


    • Initiates and guides people and processes to approve the accuracy and efficiency of complex technical product/component maintenance/repair data

    Performs engineering analysis to verify (e.g., using tabletop, virtual computer simulations, physical enactment of the maintenance procedure) the technical product/component maintenance/repair data to ensure integrity of the data.


    • Initiates and guides people and processes to develop and provide technical solutions to customers (e.g
    maintenance, repair and overhaul facilities;), to optimize their operations, resolve emergent needs and regulatory compliance issues
    Approves the preferred solution to customer technical issues that assure product integrity and safety

    Researches, analyzes, and develops new maintenance solutions based on design review and analysis of recurring product support data utilizing engineering expertise.


    • Initiates and guides people and processes to independently develop complex maintenance and repair procedures and techniques that guide end-users to maintain and restore product into usable condition
    Utilizes engineering data knowledge, maintenance operational knowledge (e.g., servicing, line maintenance, base maintenance, shop maintenance) and pertinent regulations that guarantee product reliability, safety and efficiency

    Experience and Qualifications:
    To be eligible for this demanding position, the ideal candidate should demonstrate the following experience and qualifications: Required Education and Years of Experience:


    • B.S

    in Engineering with 7-9 yrs experience Required Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to act as a technical leader This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship as a condition of employment
    An interim and/or final U.S
    Secret Clearance Pre-Start is required
    This position requires clearing a background check and an enhanced Personal Conflict of Interest (PCI) requirements as a condition for employment

    Desired Qualifications:

    • GMD program experience
    • GMD Task Leader/Test Conductor certification
    • Current CompTIA Security+ certification
    • Current/active US Secret security clearance

    Summary Pay Range:
    Please note that the information shown below is a general guideline only
    Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations
    $96,000 - $170,000 BI&A is an Equal Opportunity Employer
