Job Description Salary: 90-110K DOE

Seeking a Purchasing Manager for a manufacturing client in the Franklin County PA area.

Essential Functions of the Job:

• Oversee a department of 5 people to insure that raw materials, supplies, and services are purchased at the lowest possible price.
• Provide leadership to internal department and direct efforts with all departments to make sure product arrives when needed
• Negotiate pricing for raw materials, supplies and services.
• Source new suppliers that meet cost, quality and delivery requirements
• Ensure all PO procedures and followed with proper approvals
• Make sure everything is up to date and accurate in ERP system

Education/Skills/Certifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant area
• CPM Certification or APICS Certification
• At least 8 years of progressive purchasing experience
• Excellent computer skills and experience with ERP/MRP systems
• Must be very metric oriented and used to a high accountability environment
