Job Description
Job Summary:
Responsible for purchasing quality (PUQ) in terms of supplier quality development to ensure purchased products in compliance with Bosch requirements.
Job Roles and Responsibilities:
Interface towards suppliers for technical and quality matters working closely with production, engineering, and purchasing project functions for supplier selection and release processes
Perform potential supplier assessment in terms of FPA/P1 audit
Implement preventative quality plan (VQP) at suppliers as per purchasing project plan
Review and release supplier APQP process, assess quality control methods such as PFMEA, Control Plan, process capability, measuring and testing process capability, etc.
Technical discussion with supplier, gains the ability of the supplier to meet the Bosch requirements and also find opportunities for improvement in the design.
Conduct process audit, product audit at suppliers and release supplier PPAPPerform quality check on samples in compliance with sampling requirements for quality release
Responsible to solve technical/quality issues at supplier using the principle of "on-site, on-the-spot"
Create incoming inspection plan and perform incoming inspection as PQA function
Responsible for complaint management at suppliers and change management implementation at suppliers
Dispose purchased parts deviation from specifications following concession process, 8D, other Q-tools
Responsible for supplier performance management
Coordinate supplier continuous improvement programs (CIP)
Qualifications
Education:
Bachelor degree or above in mechanical engineering, Metal material science, technique and forming
Work Experience:
More than 5 years' experience with process engineering department or quality assurance in automotive industry
Knowledge/ Skills:
Familiar with Quality Methods such as FMEA, APQP/PPAP, control plan, SPC, MSA, Six Sigma, etc.
Sound knowledge of Manufacturing
Processes and Lean Manufacturing concepts
Preferably internal Auditor training as per ISO/TS16949
MS-Office and SAP
Good social, team and communication skills
