Job Summary
Servicing, testing, repairing troubleshooting maintaining low-voltage security cable equipment components devices associated with Access Control Video/CCTV IP Cameras Fiber Security Voice/Data Systems diagnosing malfunctioning systems apparatus components using test equipment hand tools locate cause breakdown correct problem installing mounting electronic devices panels sensors components use Electronic FLUKE multi-meter find open circuits short circuits ground faulted circuits networking field wiring have working knowledge class cabling NFPA 72 BICSI relevant codes established governing installation low voltage systems analyze blueprints schematics drawings fire alarm related electrical system efficient installation new upgraded systems inspect electrical security systems components evaluating conditions identifying necessary repairs recommending preventative maintenance review work orders assigned daily updates scheduling coordinators customers communicate all work prior starting leaving work site demonstrate strong sense urgency completing assigned work orders inspecting customer sites reviewing work orders blueprints/plans installation manuals determine material requirements installation procedures provide customer solutions.
