Job Summary:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for providing hands-on, technical expertise in a production environment. This position is responsible for maintaining a professional attitude toward other employees while recognizing the responsibility to maintain all facilities and equipment.

Job duties Include (but are not limited to):

Responding to all facility work orders pertaining to the building and equipment
Scheduling and performing preventive maintenance on all building systems, roofs, equipment and safety/monitoring systems
Having the ability to effectively troubleshoot and repair equipment including:

• Heat presses
• Conveyor systems
• Shipping and conveyor lines
• Supporting lifts and hoists

Prioritizing workflow to meet deadlines
Ensuring all processes (SOPs) are thoroughly followed
Checking inventory level of maintenance supplies and communicating any needs
Ensuring safety protocol is followed
Identify and communicate any unsafe conditions
Working collaboratively with other department Managers and Supervisors to make any recommendations for change or process improvements to meet the goals of the company
Communicating with the team via internal messaging (Slack)

Effective communication skills
Reasoning and problem solving abilities
Basic computer skills
General knowledge of electrical schematics
General knowledge of mechanical equipment including:

• Hydraulics
• Air compressors
• Conveyor systems, etc.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Ability to stand for long periods
Good hand and eye coordination
Ability to evaluate color on products
Prior Maintenance experience: 1 year (Required)
