- BS degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience (MS degree preferred)
- Experience as a Solution Architect or Technical Lead
- History of developing highly personalized and scalable architectures supporting omnichannel customer engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated expertise in creating Customer Data Platforms, preferably utilizing Segment CDP, and integrating them into intricate enterprise environments.
- Experience implementing Martech tools such as Salesforce Journey Builder, Google Analytics, Adobe Target, Localytics, Liveramp, etc.
- Robust understanding and demonstrated proficiency in various integration patterns like APIs, events, and batch processes.
- Solid background in software engineering (e.g., Java, Python, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
- Experience in developing ML models that provide insights like LTV, propensity, and churn scores, and integrating them with CDP.
- Experience in data modeling and domain modeling
- Proficiency in cloud-native solutions (AWS / Azure) with certification being a plus.
- Expertise in CI/CD and unit testing practices / Test Driven Development
- Knowledgeable in API Management and domain-driven design
- Ability to translate business requirements into technological solutions and deliver end-to-end reference architecture designs.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly articulate and influence design decisions.

The Role
Are you up for shaping the future of Fidelity's Personal Investment (PI) customer engagement by utilizing your expertise in constructing large-scale customer data platforms? The CDP Solution Architect is a pivotal role within the Fidelity Enterprise Architecture team. This team's technology drives seamless cross-channel customer engagement throughout the entire customer journey. The Customer Data Platform team is responsible for creating solutions by gathering, structuring, and aligning 1st, 2nd, and 3rd party data into self-serve activation profiles, which are then utilized in various experience channels to provide consistent, contextual, and personalized experiences.
The Solution Architect collaborates closely with business sponsors, project managers, engineers, and architects to devise strategies, standards, policies, and recommendations for top-notch solutions benefiting our employees and customers. This position oversees the complete architecture process and ensures that solutions align with strategic business and technical objectives. The Solution Architect should enjoy fostering open collaboration across teams, taking ownership of outcomes, and excelling in both hands-on technical challenges and communicating strategies effectively to partners.
