  • Key facets of the role are the synthesis and purification of ligands and oligonucleotide conjugates for targeted cellular and tissue delivery.
  • We are building state-of-the-art expertise in major oligonucleotide-based modalities, delivery approaches, and breakthrough efficacy to advance our innovative preclinical portfolio.
  • The successful candidate for this in vivo associate position will have a strong track record in the execution and analysis of in vivo studies, with excellent knowledge in all aspects of in vivo pharmacology.
  • Conduct in vivo studies and should be skilled in rodent (mouse and rat) surgeries (including stereotactic and intrathecal surgeries/injections highly preferable), dosing (e.g. IV, IP, SC, IM), behavioral assays (e.g. rotarod) and rodent necropsy techniques (CNS and peripheral tissues).
  • Perform various molecular and biochemical assays on tissue samples from preclinical in vivo studies for early discovery drug development programs, including quantitative and qualitative analysis of target mRNAs and proteins (tissue homogenization, RNA extraction, Western blot, ELISA, qPCR, dPCR).
  • A Bachelor's degree in Molecular/Cellular Biology, Neuroscience, Physiology, or a related Life Science discipline with a minimum of 4+ years of industry or academic work experience, OR a Master's degree in a related field with a minimum of 2+ years of industry or academic work experience.
  • Future site location (starting Summer 2024): Boston Seaport, MA
